We offer dual-language VPK, kicking off our youngest learners’ journey toward becoming bilingual and biliterate. Our dual language program in the primary grades drives academic success and gives our students the tools to excel in both English and Spanish! With a deep commitment to supporting our students and their families, we offer a Welcome Center that helps newcomers navigate their transition to a new country. We are also proud to be home to Benny's Bodega, a food pantry that we offer to all families at Kissimmee Elementary. Principal’s Message
Welcome back, KMES Bear Cubs!
As we begin the second half of the school year, I am filled with pride and gratitude for the progress our students, staff, and families have made together. The first semester was a time of learning, growth, and collaboration, and our achievements reflect the dedication of our entire Kissimmee Elementary community.
In the months ahead, we will continue to focus on high-quality instruction, positive relationships, and creating a safe and supportive learning environment for every child. Our teachers remain committed to delivering engaging, standards-based lessons while nurturing curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. Students will continue to build independence, stretch their thinking, and celebrate academic and personal growth.
Family partnership continues to be one of our greatest strengths. Thank you for staying involved, encouraging your children, and working side-by-side with us. Your support makes a tremendous difference.
As we move forward, let’s approach the rest of the year with optimism and a shared belief that every student can succeed. Together, we will ensure that the second half of the school year is filled with meaningful learning, joyful experiences, and strong finish for our Bear Cubs.
