We offer dual-language VPK, kicking off our youngest learners’ journey toward becoming bilingual and biliterate. Our dual language program in the primary grades drives academic success and gives our students the tools to excel in both English and Spanish! With a deep commitment to supporting our students and their families, we offer a Welcome Center that helps newcomers navigate their transition to a new country. We are also proud to be home to Benny's Bodega, a food pantry that we offer to all families at Kissimmee Elementary. KMES Bear Cubs,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! It is with great excitement and optimism that I greet each of you as we begin another year of learning, growth, and achievement together.
Our theme this year is:
“You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
This powerful message reminds us that every student possesses incredible potential. At times, challenges may arise, but it is in those moments that we discover our courage, resilience, and strength. We want every student to know that they are capable of achieving great things with the right mindset, support, and determination.
As a school, we are committed to:
- Creating a safe and supportive environment where all students feel valued
- Encouraging curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking
- Building strong partnerships with families and the community
- Helping each child recognize and grow their unique strengths
We will continue to provide engaging learning experiences that inspire confidence and empower students to take ownership of their learning. Together, we will celebrate successes, learn from challenges, and support one another every step of the way.
