We offer dual-language VPK, kicking off our youngest learners’ journey toward becoming bilingual and biliterate. Our dual language program in the primary grades drives academic success and gives our students the tools to excel in both English and Spanish! With a deep commitment to supporting our students and their families, we offer a Welcome Center that helps newcomers navigate their transition to a new country. We are also proud to be home to Benny's Bodega, a food pantry that we offer to all families at Kissimmee Elementary. Principal’s Message
KMES Bear Cubs,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! It is with great excitement and optimism that I greet each of you as we begin another year of learning, growth, and achievement together.
Our theme this year is:
“You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
This powerful message reminds us that every student possesses incredible potential. At times, challenges may arise, but it is in those moments that we discover our courage, resilience, and strength. We want every student to know that they are capable of achieving great things with the right mindset, support, and determination.
As a school, we are committed to:
We will continue to provide engaging learning experiences that inspire confidence and empower students to take ownership of their learning. Together, we will celebrate successes, learn from challenges, and support one another every step of the way.
Families, your partnership is essential to the success of our students. We encourage open communication and invite you to stay actively involved throughout the school year.

As a Choice District, we allow parents to select the school they want their children to attend, as long as that school has capacity and program availability.
Each one of our public schools has a full-time sworn law enforcement officer serving as a School Resource Officer on campus every day.
Our students have highly-qualified, certified teachers who provide engaging, relevant, and rigorous instruction.
We offer a rigorous curriculum and systems of support, complete with college preparatory and career and technical education paths to meet the needs of every student
Students have the opportunity to take high school credit courses in middle school and to earn college/postsecondary credit at no cost to parents while still in high school.
We offer courses that allow students to explore career interests, master workplace competencies, gain employable skills, and earn industry certifications and licensing upon graduation
